पुनर्जागरण कालीन ( Renaissance Art) कलाकार सान्द्रों बोत्तीसल्ली ( Sandro Botticelli) की एक पेंटिंग करीब $92 मिलियन डॉलर ($92 Million = 6,723,893,600.00 INR) में बिकी हैं।
सान्द्रों बोत्तीसल्ली की इस पेंटिंग का नाम हैं " यंग मैन होल्डिंग ए राउंडेल" ( Young Man Holding a Roundel) ।
ऐसा माना जाता हैं सान्द्रों बोत्तीसल्ली की ये पेंटिंग 1470 या 1480 के दशक में चित्रित की गई थी।
सान्द्रों बोत्तीसल्ली की यह पेंटिंग सोथबी की नीलामी में 28 जनवरी 2021 को करीब $92 मिलियन डॉलर में नीलाम हुई।
सोथबी ने ट्वीट करके यह जानकारी दी।

सान्द्रों बोत्तीसल्ली के बारे में:
सान्द्रों बोत्तीसल्ली का जन्म 1445 में फ्लोरेंस (इटली) में हुआ था।
यह उच्चपुनर्जागरण कालीन चित्रकार लियोनार्डो द विंची के समकालीन था, लेकिन इसकी कला प्रारंभिक पुनर्जागरण काल ( Early Renaissance Art) के अनुरूप थी।
बोत्तीसल्ली को प्रारंभिक काल तथा उच्च पुनर्जागरण कला की, बीच की कड़ी का महत्वपूर्ण कलाकार माना जाता हैं।
बोत्तीसल्ली का सबसे प्रसिद्ध चित्र "वीनस का जन्म" ( The birth of Venus) हैं। इस पेंटिंग में वीनस को एक सीप से जन्म लेते हुए दिखाया गया हैं।
इसकी दूसरी महत्वपूर्ण पेंटिंग है " बसन्त ऋतु" ( Primavera) ।
